Georgina started her recruitment career 14 years ago in the commercial sector, then moved to Australia to expand her experience and worked for Chandler MacLeod Brisbane specialising in permanent Business Support, sales and marketing and ad hoc bulk recruitment projects and call centre assessment centres. On her return to NZ she worked for OCG within the Accounting and Finance team. Georgina has joined the Chandler Macleod team in Highbrook after parental leave.

My favourite Chandler Macleod moment?

There are so many moments to choose from and right now the most recent would be my first week back at Chandler MacLeod starting right at the beginning of the Covid-19 lockdown. I was welcomed back with open arms and I have felt absolutely supported which shows the level of commitment to their highly-valued staff. I was made to feel instantly part of a team and have felt stable and safe even though we are in such an uncertain time. An employee couldn’t ask for anything more.

What do I enjoy doing outside my role at Chandler Macleod?

I love to travel and explore different cultures overseas, particularly food and wine and then recreate this at home. Now that I have a family, I love our yearly trips to Waiheke, our fave destination where we have fun at the beach and get out to the cafes to enjoy the local cuisine. I also enjoy getting out and about on our bikes with the kids in the summer months and a yearly trip to the snow in winter.
