Account Coordinator

Auckland

Our client design, manufacture, and supply world class paper and packaging products to some of the world's largest and most iconic food and retail brands in NZ. They are an Australian family-owned business with operations based in New Zealand. They have an office and factory based near Mangere close to the Auckland Airport, and are great friendly and extroverted team that enjoy what they do.
Currently they are going through some internal changes lead by growth and there is a permanent position available in their National Accounts team starting as soon as possible. The role is 8 hours per day (start and finish times can be flexible during office hours), Monday to Friday.
They are looking for a down-to-earth, organised, customer lead and approachable person that has great attention to detail. Data entry with high accuracy and dealing with customers on the phone and by email will be a big part of this role, as will managing the customer accounts ensuring invoicing and stock reporting are completed and goods are delivered on time.
You will need to be fast at learning processes & computer systems, have prior sales administration related experience and have high accuracy in your data entry within a company database. Experience with customer account management using Salesforce would be beneficial in helping you hit the ground running. Prior experience in using a Salesforce and a company database is a nice to have, but not a must, so great opportunity to gain experience in this for someone who has just completed a business degree.
Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily orders and invoices for customer accounts accurately
  • Container tracking and customer stock reporting done on timely basis
  • Coordinate internally and externally to ensure on-time delivery of goods to customers
  • Coordinate services to customer accounts and support back-up for service delivery
  • Provide excellent levels of customer service to NZ sales accounts, develop relationships with customers
  • Promote products and services through all interactions with customers and including email and phone
  • Coordinate debtors and aged stock management including slow moving and aged stock allocations
  • Problem solve and manage customer queries and complaints to resolution
Key Requirements
  • High level English verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, great with numbers
  • Passion for driving results
  • Ability to establish rapport
  • Have prior experience in an administration or sales coordination role
  • Ideally have experience within a Manufacturing environment (otherwise keen to gain experience within a manufacturing environment)
