Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerks

Looking for a temporary employment opportunity?  
We are seeking experienced Accounts Administrators, Accounts Payables or Receivables Clerk and Credit Controllers to join our current temping talent pool. Being a temp can be challenging - every role is different, from industry to length of assignment - so you will need to be resilient while remaining consistently professional and approachable. On the plus side, temping can fill in an unemployment gap for you, open your eyes to new industry sectors and role types, and even turn into a permanent role! As one of our temps, you will be payrolled by us but outsourced to one of our many clients. We are in continuous contact throughout your placement with updates about role extensions or new opportunities.
To be considered for a temporary assignment, you will need to have worked previously in Accounts administration, Accounts Payable/Receivable or Credit Control for at least 12 months - and as these roles will have very little in the way of training, you must have office-based experience in Accounting, not just University/Education-based knowledge. You'll also need to be happy to work autonomously but easily fit into a team environment.
As the roles vary, key accountabilities may include:
  • Data entry, processing/raising invoices and coding
  • Reconciliation of supplier/customer statements
  • Preparing payment runs and processing payments
  • Bank Reconciliations and working with PO numbers
  • Expenses / company credit cards
  • Working with international suppliers/customers
  • Handling queries and chasing invoices
Skills and experience we require:
  • Ideally 12 months' of office-based experience in Accounts Payables, Receivables or Credit Control
  • Proven ability to multi task and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy as you will be working with numbers
  • Working with larger ERP systems and accounting software (SAP, Xero, MYOB, Peoplesoft etc)
  • Confidence in using MS Office

Please note these roles are of temporary nature - with assignments ranging from 2 weeks to 6 months. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week so you will need to be able to commit to this and not have any restrictions.
