Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerks

Auckland

We are seeking experienced accounting professionals who are looking for temporary contract work to register with our agency. We work with some amazing Auckland CBD based businesses who frequently ask for our assistance to fill urgent roles. 
 
As these roles have very little training provided, you will need to have worked previously in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Credit Control for at least 12 months. These roles will have very little in the way of training so you must have office-based experience in Accounting, not just University/Education-based knowledge. You'll also need to be happy to work autonomously but easily fit into a team environment.
 
As the roles vary, key accountabilities may include:
  • Data entry, processing/raising invoices and coding
  • Reconciliation of supplier/customer statements
  • Preparing payment runs and processing payments
  • Bank Reconciliations and working with PO numbers
  • Expenses / company credit cards
  • Working with international suppliers/customers
  • Handling queries and chasing invoices
Skills and experience we require:
 
  • Ideally 12 months' of office-based experience in Accounts Payables, Receivables or Credit Control
  • Proven ability to multi task and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy as you will be working with numbers
  • Working with larger ERP systems and accounting software (SAP, Xero, MYOB, Peoplesoft etc)
  • Confidence in using MS Office

Please note these roles are of temporary nature - with assignments ranging from 2 weeks to 6 months. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week so you will need to be able to commit to this and not have any restrictions.
