PA to Company Secretary - 12-Month FTC

Our Client:
  • Our client is a well-established provider of Banking and Financial Services products, located on Shortland Street in Auckland CBD. With over 13,000 branches worldwide, business is doing really well and they are currently in a growth phase, so their focus here in New Zealand is corporate & business lending. A big chunk of their business here in New Zealand is also infrastructure and they are involved with funding lots of public works.
The Opportunity:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing dedicated administrative support to the Company Secretary, on a 12-month fixed term basis.
  • A large part of the role will include preparation of board papers, along with minute taking for 6 board meetings per year. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing reports, drafting documents and making any travel arrangements. No email or diary management is required.
  • Key stakeholders will include the Executive Team and Independent Board Directors.

Experience required:
  • Experience within the Financial Services or Legal industries will be advantageous - having an understanding of banking terminology will make life much easier for you in this position!
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Strong ability to use your initiative
  • Capable to work towards deadlines, whilst managing changing priorities
