Payroll Advisor

Wellington

A rare opportunity has become available for a skilled Payroll Advisor with end to end payroll experience. We are looking for a switched on candidate with a working knowledge across all payroll functions who will be a confident, effective, and supportive team member in this dynamic and interesting government department. This position is for 25 - 30 hours per week so is perfect for applicants looking for flexibility in their next role and it offers a competitive salary.
 
We are looking for candidates who can show the following experience and attributes:
• Proven in depth experience working in a payroll environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Analysis and problem solving skills
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and flexible environment and ability to cope well under pressure
• Working knowledge of relevant legislation
• Service driven with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Technical skills including payroll systems, MS Office, and document management
