We have a 3 month Temp Assignment for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join an international company's East Tamaki office. They have a professional modern office located in the heart of East Tamaki.


There are a lot of staff onsite and they are very busy at the moment, as winter is their peak season. So being able to concentrate while working in the hustle and bustle is important.


You will be one of four people that directly reports to the Customer Services Manager, and will be allocated a brand / product range to focus on handling the calls, emails and administration for. The first couple weeks though you will be eased in to the work, by being initially allocated to data entry/PO processing and filing, until you are trained up on the product knowledge in order to handle customer questions.


Hours are: 8:00am – 4:30pm or 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (no weekend work)
Pay: $24.50 per hour + 8% holiday pay
Car park: free onsite or street parking available
This is a three month temp role, to start immediately

Main tasks in this role include:

  • Processing customer purchase orders and generating packing slips and sales orders
  • Handling customer queries and orders via phone and email
  • Process customer warranties and freight damage claims
  • Data entry in to excel spreadsheets
  • Maintain paperwork and filing
  • Attend sales meetings to discuss delivery schedule & product knowledge
  • Handle inbound sales lead calls and convert them into sales


Key requirements for this role:

  • You will be working in a busy office that is full of chat and laughter, so you will need to be good at concentrating and working in amongst the noise.
  • Have prior administration and phone based customer service experience
  • Immediately available to start, and able to commit to this 3 month temp assignment
  • High attention to detail and accurate data entry
  • Friendly and professional attitude
