This is a great opportunity to be part of a well known, leading and family owned New Zealand business within FMCG, with products grown only in NZ. The organisation is highly progressive and has grown over the years to having 300 staff across two sites in Auckland. Although large, the owner gets to know his people so it has a smaller feel on a bigger scale with lots of opportunities for growth.

 

The Role:

Based in East Tamaki, this role is a full time and permanent customer service role that sits within the sales team and will see you working closely with your team as well as the Logistics team. You will support the sales team with processing of orders and ensuring compliance needs are met through preparation of documents for varying countries. You will also be responsible for managing customer rebates and responding to all customer enquiries.

 

The role also has an inventory remit as well where you will manage all inventory requirements and stock movements between 3PL providers. You will liaise with a number of internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the movement of stock between Auckland and the South Island, as well as Australia and Pacific islands.

 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Come from a customer service and/or coordination background
  • Be experienced in logistics and have an understanding of import and export documentation
  • Have an analytical mind set and have the ability to manage multiple tasks at any one time and plan and prioritise
  • Be able to build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships across varying levels of the business 
  • Be a confident Excel user - Intermediate level
  • Have the motivation to work with a highly successful and collaborative team
