About the role:

The Secretariat Governance is a key member of the Governance team within the Office of the Chief Executive Group. They support all aspects of the Governance secretariat functions within the organisation.
The role will also include developing and maintaining relationships with team members, business owners, Chairs and members of governance groups where applicable. This includes maintaining dashboard reporting and providing full secretariat support services to governance groups
  • Provide support and advice for organisational governance including being a center of excellence for other governance needs
  • Provide tools, templates, guidance and support leaders across governance functions
  • Provide advice on and develop the maturity of governance functions

About you:
  • Experience in working with governing bodies, specifically providing a wide range of governance support services to a high standard.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse range of stakeholders, and establish credibility with people
  • Tact, discretion, and a high level of trust working with confidential and sensitive information.
  • The ability to actively manage multiple work streams at the same time within tight time constraints.
  • Creates own momentum, drives outcomes and plans for success
  • Willingly shares knowledge, expertise and within the team and with others in the organisation.
  • Manage own and others’ personal health and safety at all times, support your colleagues, actively participate in safety and wellbeing initiatives, and take appropriate action to deal with workplace hazards, accidents and incidents following our safety and wellbeing policies, procedures, safe systems of work and event reporting.
