The Opportunity:
This progressive NZ owned organisation based in Airport Oaks is seeking a Warehouse Administrator / Customer Coordinator to assist the Warehouse Manager and to work along-side a vibrant and friendly team. The role is a newly created role and therefore will be 12 months fixed term to start with, however it may extend or the role may develop into something else within operations. The role will offer you the chance to really make it your own and sink your teeth into as new processes and systems will be implemented and you will be able to put your touch on this. 
 
The Role:
This will be a busy and challenging role and one that will become pivotal to the warehouse team. You will provide administrative support to the Warehouse Manager, strengthening efficient and accurate operation of the Warehouse.  You will also be the key contact for customers, communicating regularly with internal and external customers, confirming orders and deliveries are accurate and ensuring expectations are managed. You will also be responsible for purchasing of local products, attending project meetings and operational meetings and facilitating follow up and communications. 
 
With this in mind, you will bring with you your ability to coordinate, organise, relationship build and act quickly and it will all be done in your stride.
 
To be successful in this role you will also have the following attributes and experience:
  • Ability to pick things up quickly and a can-do attitude
  • Top notch time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Ability to think on your feet and be one step ahead
  • Strong initiative and the motivation to make the role your own and implement your own process 
  • Strong customer service / admin background dealing with both internal and external customers
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy regards, to the in's and outs of the role you will be given full training on the systems and will get top notch support from the team, so you don't necessarily need to have experience within the warehouse environment, but if you do then it would be great to bring that along with you.
